  This is a shocking news, Singer Margaret Mary Oluwatoyin Ejiro Joseph popularly known as Zara Gretti has passed on.

 She passed away yesterday morning in Nigeria after a battle with Multiple Sclerosis. (MS is an autoimmune disease that affects the brain and spinal cord).

 Her last tweet last night was "I love and hate my life". She died a few hours later, on Friday,  28th March.

Wizkid And Tania Omotayo Part Ways.....

According to a source close to the couple has confirmed to them that the lovebirds' relationship is over. According to the unnamed source, Wizkid and Tania went their separate ways last
December. Although the reason for their split is still unknown, the source was doubtful whether either of them was in a relationship.
"They have split for a long time now. In fact, I think it was since December.the source told us that the split happen due to how Wizkid take back his baby mama,bought car and a lot of gift for her and her baby.

Legendary fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal also known as K1 who recently celebrated his 57th birthday and gave out three of his daughters out in marriage is back in the news.
This time it has to do with one of his baby mamas. That King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal aka Kwam1 is a father of many children (over 30) is no longer news.
What's now news is popular Yoruba actress, Bisola Badmus in an interview with National Encomium revealed that the fuji star is the father of her 2-year old son and she is not in any way scared of his newest wife, Titi Masha and in fact K1 is her husband.

Yes, he is the father of my son. That's not a lie. My son is not a bastard.

 He is Abdulmalik Ayinde Marshal. I have never regretted having a baby for K1. He has been a wonderful father to my son. He is taking good care of Him.

On why she denied that K1 was the father of her baby two years ago
 
I thank God for giving me a wonderful son, a cute one at that. I am happy as a mother let me correct the impression by the public and some press men that may be because K1 had denied the paternity of my son, that's why I kept quiet since. That's not true; I only do not want to talk because I hate noise, most especially on my son because he is too young for that. Everybody knows I am naturally a very quiet person. That's why I refused to talk about or even grant any interview on the matter. I know who the father of my son is. It's not controversial.
 
On any misunderstanding between the them
 
We never had any misunderstanding. He still pays his bill as a father. And my son will be happy knowing that K1 is his father. He has been so caring to us. I can't fight the father of my baby. K1 has been a very good father and I love him for that.
 
On if her relationship was a one-night stand
 
It wasn't a one- night-stand. We had a good relationship. We agreed that we should have a baby, not that I forced my child on him.
 
On being married to K1
 
Of course I don't have any other husband.
 
On her being afraid of  K1's wife
I told you I kept quite because I don't like noise, especially about my little boy. Besides, no one has ever been a threat to me. My husband is my husband. I don't believe I owe anybody any explanation for marrying him. Nobody was there when we met. Then, how can anybody become a threat to me or my marriage to K1? That's not possible. So, that's all.
Anyway, leave my marriage for me for me for now.

It would be recalled that his K1's newest wife, Titi Marshal who happens to be his ex-wife Alhaja Shalewa (nee Masha) niece..

Aki in a chat with said there is no monetary value or special benefits to the title as obtained in western countries. 

"The only joy in it is the recognition. When I am traveling and I get to the Airport, I get special preference and recognition. Apart from that, I don't get any other thing. I don't get paid, I don't get any special benefits as an MFR. As an MFR, I hold the same position with some of those who are Members of the British Empire (MBE) and they have some special benefits in the international community and honourary recognitions but those things are not here" he said.

Aki was also asked if he ever wonders why he was created in the form he is. 

"Am I the one that created myself? Why would I ask myself such a question? You can only ask such a question when you are frustrated about life or if you are tired of life. But in my own case I am not. When you wake up in the morning and you have something to eat, you have people who can smile at you and you smile back as well, then what else do you need? Then you go to bed, you sleep and you seldom go to the hospital, so which other gift is more important than that? As far as I am concerned, that is the greatest gift. There are some people who have all the money, cars, houses and all the things they want, but they are sick. They don't enjoy the money. So the perfect gift for me is good health"..

Baba Suwe Lament.."Everybody Is Avoiding Me oooo"

Alhaji Babatunde Nurudeen Omidina, otherwise known as 'Baba Suwe' has cried out to anyone who cares to listen that he has been deserted by friends and fans following his infamous 'cocaine' case with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

In a recent interview, the comic actor also confessed facing hard time financially as a result of the protracted saga.

"I have not collected any compensation money from NDLEA yet. The most painful thing is that I was wrongly accused. Had it been I actually committed the crime, I wouldn't mind, but they just punished me for nothing. I was in NDLEA custody for almost three weeks, and nothing was found on me. No matter the kind of juju one may have, I don't think there is anybody that can conceal cocaine for even two days.

"Even a lot of people that could have assisted me financially don't want to associate with me again.

People within and outside the industry have deserted me on account of the allegation. They still doubt me despite my victory in court."

"I have sung praises of some people in some of my movies, and I always appreciate whatever they give me. This makes a lot of people close to me.

For instance, I was close to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu before and he was very nice to me. But now, it's very difficult for me to be close to him.

He is even not comfortable seeing me around him again because of the allegation. I don't enjoy people's love and admiration like before because people still believe that it was true." he lamented!!!

D'banj says.......My Father Is Not Happy Over My Music Career!!

So many entertainment celebrities have their different stories to tell on how their parents view their chosen careers. Nigerian music star, D'banj is not left out in the debate as he has revealed that his father isn't overjoyed about his music career.

Even though the Nigerian star enjoyed international success with his 2012 smash hit Oliver Twist and has sold over 11 million albums in his career, he revealed that his dad remains concerned that a career in music isn't sustainable.

"'Don't do music' is what my father told me," D'banj narrated in a recent interview.

"Even now, he says to me: 'Are you sure this music thing is right for you?'"

Asked what career path his father would have preferred for him he said "Any other thing apart from music! My father is so quiet and reserved, whereas music puts you right out there.

"He knows that fame can destroy things and he worries about me sustaining success.

"He also says: 'When I was your age, I was married and I already had you! When are you going to settle down?''

"I think I want to get a Grammy first! But if an angel should pass, I might just be distracted!!!

Don Jazzy is apparently building a massive HQ for Mavin Records.

It's not supposed to be public knowledge yet, according to those close to the label. But Mavin friend and Chocolate City rapper Ice Prince let the cat out of the bag last night with a congratulatory tweet: 'Big congratz to a king @DONJAZZY and the whole Mavin fam on the new Mavin HQ! Masssive!!'

We're told the property is in Lekki Lagos and development has been going on for some time now. No word yet from the label.

Yinka Ayefele (MON) Appointed As Peace Ambassador By African First Ladies

Foremost tungba gospel musician, Yinka Ayefele, MON was at the weekend appointed a Peace Ambassador by the African First Ladies Peace Mission (AFLPM), in Abuja.
According to a release signed by his publicist, David Ajiboye,the investiture which was witnessed by over 50 African First ladies coincided with the Peace Concert initiated and hosted by Nigeria's first lady, Dr. Dame Patience Jonathan.
The elaborate ceremony was attended by creme de la creme of the society.
Ayefele's whose latest effort, COMFORTER, sold over one million copies within three days of it's release last December has been a darling artiste of Nigeria's first lady.
It would be recalled that Ayefele performed at the burial of Dame Patience's mum held in Okrika and Port Harcourt last October and has been a regular artiste anytime the first lady is hosting any event.

Brief history of Yinka Ayefele

Yinka Ayefele was born without the surgical scalpel over four decades ago. The first child of his parents, Yinka hails from Ipoti Ekiti where he had his elementary education at Our Saviours Anglican Primary School and Ipoti Community Secondary School, Ipoti Ekiti and later to Ondo State College of Arts and Science, (OSCAS) Ikare Akoko, Ondo State.

His desire to make it in life brought him to Ibadan in the 80s where he did several menial jobs before he got the opportunity to practice his heart desires-broadcasting. For many years, he worked as a freelance broadcaster at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Ibadan where he presented programmes like, Olongo, Agunmu owo, Lagbo Faaji, Big Beats etc. Along the line, he became a renowned jingle producer and the most sought-after jingle producer by advertisers.

He had a date with destiny in December 12, 1997 when he had an accident with his Volkswagen beetle car. The accident eventually became a watershed that later became the compass that gave his life and career direction. Not new to music, his accident was to later help in honing his skills in music when he produced an album entitled; Bitter Experience launched a year after his accident at the Premier Hotel in Ibadan. His music, a fusion of gospel garnished with juju flavor in a hot Tungba sauce beautifully delivered in a sonorous, yet velvet voice that is uniquely distinct.
The wide acceptability of Bitter Experience marked the turning point in his life, with the subsequent release of another monster hit follow-up album, Sweet Experience., thus giving birth to seemingly the hottest and most widely travelled  band in the country today -Yinka Ayefele and the Merry Makers band.
The band has produced other well-accepted albums like Something Else, Divine Intervention, Absolute Praise, Fun Fair, Something Else, New Dawn, Aspiration, Divine Intervention, etc in no particular order.
His efforts and contributions to the entertainment industry were adequately rewarded by the Federal Government when he was listed as a recipient of the national honour of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) by President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in 2009.
A recipient of over 200 awards and honours, Ayefele is an honorary citizen of the State of Georgia, Rhode Island, Boston and Miami in the United States. During his first tour of the United States in 2008, Ayefele and the Merrymakers toured 30 states out of the 50 states in that country thus making him the first Nigerian artiste to achieve that feat. Ayefele has visited countries like, Malaysia, Republic of Ireland, UAE, UK, Canada and several other African countries.
