Why I Exposed My B**bs, I Would Go Any Length To Act n*de - Nollywood Actress

Meet this fast rising 'I don't give a damn' babe in Nollywood and the first strange thing is her name – she's known as Nazareth Jesse Bako. Sounds strange abi? Anyway, here's what she had to say in a recent interview:

I'm an actress. I am the firstborn from a family of eight. I am Gwari from Kuje Area Council, in Abuja. I was born in Jerusalem, but I was brought up in Bida town, Niger State. I attended the University of Abuja where I studied Economics, but I had my OND in Business Admin at Federal Polytechnic, Bida. Growing up, things were difficult for me because I had this belief that flashy things were sinful until I realised that everything was created by God for us to profit from.

As an actress, can you act nudé?
I'd go any length to act nudé, as long as it goes with my terms. It would be between me and my employer.

The craziest stunt you ever pulled?
That would be showing off my breast in a restaurant. It was a bet of truth and dare...

Your journey into acting
Making it into the industry was just God's grace. I started acting professionally in 2006, when I was still in school, but I got into the industry in 2001. I had passion for acting but I decided that when I was done with schooling, I would get a job. But after several applications and I couldn't get a job, I decided to remain in show business. I got into Nollywood when I met a super star whom I told I loved to act. If I spent those years in school acting, I would have been in Hollywood by now. But I still love to practise my profession. If there is a vacancy anywhere in the world, I am ready to go.

Competition
I am in no competition with anyone. It is fine if any artiste gets to the limelight before me. If I get there before any one, I will wish them good luck. The sky is wide for everyone to fly. I try to mind my business, and for the fact that I am based in Abuja, I see less of some actors.

Parental support
My parents are the best. Initially, they didn't like the idea because of the impression people had about the industry especially about sexual harassment. Since they want me to be happy, they realised they could not stop me because people kept telling them they saw their daughter on television.

Personality
I cannot really tell the mind of people but I guess some see me as a controversial person, while others see me as an innocent girl. I am just one lovely person who appreciates people no matter their belief and nature.

Relationship
Frank Artus, a Ghanaian actor, and I are friends but we are not dating each other. One guy kept seeing my display profile on Blackberry Messenger and asked if I was crazy about him, and I said yes, because he is kind-hearted. I am single and waiting for the right man that God has ordained for me.

Your Ideal man
My ideal man is someone who has the fear of God; someone who is caring and romantic. Above all, he must be well-to-do; he must have achieved what it takes to face responsibility of matrimony. I like my man to be mature, presentable in terms of speech, dressing and looks. He must be intelligent too....

How A Woman Snatched My Husband : Actress Reveals

Veteran actress Rachael Oniga in this recent interview with the Entertainer revealed how her husband, now late, divorced her for another woman.

She also discussed her journey into Nollywood and many other issues:

Interview excerpt below:

On how she joined Nollywood, she said

"I started in 1993 after I got separated from my husband; he's late now. I was a fulltime housewife and before then a computer programmer. After the separation I just said I was not going back into the labour market. So, I went into business trading, traveling and buying things and all of that. Fortunately, I met Uncle 'Layi Ashadele and he said to me, 'why don't you try acting?' So, I gave it a try and I was invited to the set of Memorial Hospital. That was how the journey started."

So why didn't you remarry?

I believe so much in myself, and when I got over the shock of the separation and all that, I made up my mind that I was going to make a statement without a man. I wanted to prove that a hardworking woman could make an impact and with God's grace I have come a long way.

There's been no scandal around you. How were you able to handle that?

The truth is that when you're focused and you know where you're going to, you're likely to succeed. I made up my mind then that I wasn't going to remarry. I was determined to make it and make all men including my late husband know that with God by her side, a woman can make it in life without a man's support.

That means he hurt you real bad?

Yes. During our years of courtship and marriage, I never suspected that we would just break up like that or anything could ever come between us. Back then he told me everything. I could tell you where he was at every moment; I trusted him so much.

Did you ever get to meet the other woman?

It was later, much later and when I did I was like 'did he leave me because of this thing?' I don't know how to put it but men don't really appreciate what they have until they lose it.

What advice do you have for women in similar situations?

Just believe in yourself and with hard work you will get there. God is always faithful. I killed my emotions and I said to myself 'Rachael, your kids must go to the best schools.' It was just work and my children.

''I Have A Crush On Davido And If People Don't Talk About Me, I Don't Make Money'' - Cynthia Morgan Defends Raunchy Photos

Last month, fast-rising dancehall artiste under Jude Okoye's North Side Entertainment Cynthia Ikponmwenosa Morgan released some raunchy promo photos of herself.

A lot of Nigerians blasted her for them but Cynthia, in this new engaging interview with Vanguard, says she doesn't care. |That when people dare to bully her about the photos, that she definitely retaliates. According to her, this is business and she has to do what she has to do to sell. Excerpts:

What inspired your recent raunchy photo shoots ?
Personally for an artiste, besides music, you have to be creative when it comes to your branding, your pictures, your performances and stage craft. Pictures are part of the things that brand an artiste. A lot of people say different kind of stuffs, but when you start something in Nigeria or in Africa, people start talking.

We are in 21st century and Nigeria is not like America. We still have this mentality of 'Oh my God, she is exposing a whole lot of stuffs' but when American artistes do it, we get to embrace them. I think it's all about you starting your own trend, people will definitely talk, some people will love it while some will hate it .It's all about you knowing what you see as an artiste.

When I create a song , I can actually create the video in my head.   So, it's all about the craft and the branding. I wasn't actually nude, I was wearing a tattoo and a pair of snickers. It's just about being different and people are definitely going to talk. It's part of the whole business. If they don't talk, you don't make money. So they just have to keep talking.

So, how do you react to negative comments about you on the social media?
If a fan bullies me, I bully back if I am in the mood. If you go through my Twitter page and you tell me what I do is crap , I will be like:' Is that why we are here?'.
If you bully me, I bully back. That's how it is. There are some people who go online trying to just make  you feel bad about yourself and about your music but as an artiste, you just have to be very prepared .It happens all over the world even in America. I am a bully too. You bully me, if I am in the mood, I bully you back. That's how it works.

Can you go nude in a music video if the concept warrants it?
It's a craft and it's all about your performance. It's just a performance if I have to go nude. Yes, definitely .It's all about the performance. It's about acting . It's my job to actually do whatever fits into whatever I'm doing. If a director comes and says: "You know what? You are going to go nude   and shoot a video like this", you know that's what makes you an artiste.  That is what makes you an exceptional artiste. So it's fine.

Does that mean you will do it?
Yes! It's a performance shoot, but I don't see myself doing any nude video though. I am just saying if the situation demands that I do it, yes, I will. Rihanna goes nude  too. That's why you are called a performing artiste.

What are your favourite qualities in a man?
For me, he has to be rich. There just has to be a connection between the both of us. He has to be fond of me, we have to be compartible. He has to have a good sense of humour and must be presentable.

Can you tell us about your physical assets:what you consider as the sexiest part of your body?
That will be my height, my "oranges" and my nose.

There is an allegation that you are using Dencia's Whitenicious .
It's not true. It's one of the craziest things I have heard about myself. No, I am not using Whitenicious.

    Who is your celebrity crush?
That will be Davido, because for me, he is hardworking. Over the years he has been able to prove himself that he is talented and not all about being just a rich kid and I think he is cute too.

What if he asks you out and says he loves you?
Cool, but because I have a crush on him doesn't mean I want to have a relationship with him. But if he says :'Oh my God! I love you.' We can work something out.

In the movie, 2Face was handcuffed for an offence, dressed in a prison costume and taken to prison.

Charles Novia Blast Nigerian Celebs Who Won't Stop Flaunting Their Fake Lifestyle

Nollywood actor/director and producer Charles Novia is very pissed off and according to him, these celebs know very well their source of income isn't their singing or acting.

He said; These celebrities keep deceiving Nigerians.

Among the present crop of Nigerian musicians, I would vote for Tuface Idibia as the most humble of the lot.

His humility is well-known by a lot of people as one of his greatest assets added to a very warm and friendly disposition. Apart from his humility, one appreciable virtue he has is his sense of modesty even when he is easily one of the richest musicians in Nigeria.

You don't really see Tuface going on Instagram or other social networks to flaunt a new watch or new car or some material possession. Not because he cannot afford them but because he has sense of proprietary.

I had an informal conversation with him in Atlanta, USA in October 2013 one evening when we were both hanging out with a bosom friend and brother, Chris Ikpefua of Vogue Entertainment, USA and Tuface told me something profound and touching. [He said]:
You know what? Sometimes I look back and remember how I started, who I started with, the other musical groups we had when we started and the solo artistes then. I look around now and for some reason God has made me still relevant till now for close to twenty years in the music industry. It humbles and chills me.

I feel sad that most of my peers are not where I am too. Artistes who struggled with us to build the music industry to this level with their talent when there was no structure. I feel very sad for them, Bros.

I am also aware that many of the young and even the established artistes look up to me as a role model of sorts.  If I screw up, they too might screw up. So, Bros, I went into properties. Immediately I started buying houses, the others looking up to me slowed down and began to invest in properties too. It made me happy because they would have something to fall back to later in life. Bros, I get properties but nor be wetin dem dey shout about.'

I was impressed by his sense of acumen and again modesty in wealth. But Tuface is an exception. I wish I could say the same for the crop of  Nigerian artistes who love flaunting their material possessions for all to see.

More often than not, those things being flaunted are part of a hype culture. There is a need to 'belong' and most of those acts, wracked by a poverty mentality, believe a $300,000 designer wristwatch or an expensive car or SUV are the yardstick to measure their wealth. No, they are not. Maturity and moderation matters. A rich person does not need to tell the world he or she is loaded. The world perceives it.

Our musicians and actresses  deluding themselves on social media with this flaunting fad are not being true to themselves.

The entertainment industry is a coterie community and the statistics of income are not hidden.

When you try to hoodwink the public that you bought a house or a diamond watch just from the singing and prancing on stage in an industry where CD sales are dropping, or that you bought some house in Ikoyi just by being an unmarried actress when we all know how much an actor is paid for a role, is stretching the story a bit too far.

Granted, these artistes might have other legitimate sources of income but such sources are negligible in turnover. One day, very soon, those wealthy shady barons and pimps using the artistes in the industry as cannon fodder might just move to another area of interest.

And don't get me wrong, how people make their money is entirely their own business.

What I am pissed about is the deception; the whole stinking deception. These artistes hoodwinking the public that they made their money through their art when there is more to it. Others who are not in the entertainment sector make money through these same avenues these artistes use but they don't come out shouting about it as such.

In essence, what I am saying here is:
Guys, make una cool down. Make your money as codedly as una don dey make am. Make your work dey speak for you for one side and your money dey quietly answer you for the other side.

The fake life and lies don dey too much for many of una. Shikena!!!

Miss Universe WInner Sues Organisers

19-years old 2013 Miss Universe Ghana, Hanniel Jamin, has sued Roberta Annan Consulting (RAC), organizers of beauty pageant in Ghana, for breach of contract.

Hanniel, after winning the pageant in May 2013, was to receive GH¢5,000 worth of wardrobe, a New York Film Academy scholarship, a management and public relations deal, and a year's gym membership, monthly fees and a trip to the world event in addition to other attractive packages.

However, Nigeriafims.com learnt that she has not received her full prize package. Hanniel was in May 2013 crowned winner of the 2013 edition of the Miss Universe Ghana pageant at a ceremony held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra.

According to speculation, this is the second time a queen had taken organizers of the Miss Universe Ghana to court over the prize package.
The first was Miss Gifty Ofori, Miss Universe Ghana 2012, who took the organizers to court last year after she came out to complain that she did not receive her full prize package.

Wow!!! See How Much Cash plus a G-Wagon Mercedes Car Adokiye Was paid,For Posing Unclad(Photos)

This looks rather exaggerated because i thought only popular faces are paid that high for posing unclad because until early this year when she posed semi-unclad for a New York based magazine, Adokiye Kyrian Yvonne a.k.a Adokiye Was relatively unknown in the nation's music scene.
But immediately after that controversial posture, the sexy singer has become one of the hottest rising female singers in the country. In this recent interview, she speaks on the raunchy photo spread among other issues.
Early this year, you posed semi-unclad in a New York based magazine. What was the attraction?
It actually got leaked. I did some modelling jobs while I was in New York and at that point in time, some pictures leaked while the process was still going on. Yes, I posed for some shots, but I never really posed unclad. I didn't expose my private part as a woman. That I exposed my skin doesn't mean I posed unclad. I am an architect by training and creativity is part of my daily routine. So, I didn't pose unclad because I didn't expose my private part.
We learnt, you were paid handsomely for the job?
Officially, I was paid the sum of $200,000 and a G Wagon Mercedes Benz car for the photo spread in the magazine.
Do you ever regret posing unclad?
I have never for once regretted anything I have done in the past. But at the end of the day, I just want people to believe in me that I have got a lot to offer to my fans.
Were your parents pleased when they saw your unclad pictures?
My parents are highly understanding people. They know the kind of daughter they have and they also know that whatever I'm doing today doesn't affect me both psychologically and physically. So, they always support me in anything I'm doing.
What were you doing in New York?
New York is like a second home to me. I travel to New York once in a while.
There was this rumour that you were dating W4. Is it true?
No, we were never in any relationship. But we were just friends and he was a colleague too.
