Nigerian music stars continue to make an impact on the international music scene.

Effizie Music first lady Yemi Alade is billed to perform in the United Kingdom on Friday, August  28, 2015 at the Dance Afrique Summer Fest with American star, Akon.

The Konvict Music CEO and Yemi Alade will be on stage with South African music group, Mafikizolo, who are popular in Nigeria for their hit singles Khona and Tchelete featuring Davido.

The SSE Arena in Wembley, UK will play host to the Solution Media and Infotech sponsored event.

The organizers of the event had earlier staged a similar concert that had Nigerian duo of P-Square and Flavour partnering with Shatta Wale to thrill fans.

At the last BET Awards, Yemi Alade was among the Nigerian artists that complained about the award organisers treatment of African acts. BET tends to present awards to Africans backstage rather than at the main event.

CONTROVERSIAL SKIIBII DEATH: WE DID NOT USE SKIIBII FOR MONEY RITUALS- KCEE

A new twist has been added to the controversial Skiibii death saga. According to 5Star Music, there were rumours that its boss, E-Money (Emeka Okonkwo) had attempted to use the budding act for money rituals, hence Skiibii’s coma-like collapse. Hence, Limpopo crooner, KCee has come out in defence of E-Money, who is also his brother.

KCee spoke during an interview with Wazobia FM on Friday, August 21 in a continued to clear up issues related with the alleged failed publicity stunt.

He said: “I’m disappointed with people on social media who said that my brother, E Money, used Skiibii for money rituals. What gets me even angrier is that now that he did not die, they are saying his head was too strong for the juju and that is why immediately I came into the country I decided to use this medium to clarify issues. I was on tour with my producer, Soso Soberekon in Norway when the purported rumour of Skiibii’s death broke.

“Somebody called Soso to confirm the news and Soso called his boy who confirmed that Skiibii collapsed and was rushed to the hospital but he did not know what exactly was happening but it’s like Skiibii was dead and so he told the caller that skiibii was actually dead.”

Cute nollywood couples Toyin Aimakhu and her husband, Adeniyi Johnson marriage is on the verge of collapse.

According to new flying, Toyin and her husband have been having rough times lately and efforts by some family members to resolve the issues have reportedly proved abortive.

The actress is said to have accused her husband of grievous allegations and from what we were reliably told, Toyin is fed up and does not care what people might say if she calls it quit with the union.

“As things are now, Toyin is fed up with Niyi, who plays with her heart the way he likes. He is too distracted to be with Toyin alone and he is not doing anything to genuinely make amends. He begs for forgiveness and later go back to his vomit.

“This issue has been on for long and lot of effort as been made to ensure they remain together happily, but as it is now, people are tired.  Toyin has been advised  to just see herself as a single lady rather than kill herself because of a ‘fine boy’,” .

Its been observed that the actress has deleted some of the pictures of her husband from her social media accounts. She has also now addressed herself as Miss Aimakhu, removing the earlier Mrs attached to her name.

Meanwhile, efforts to reach Toyin for her reaction to this story proved futile as her number was switched off .

It would be recalled that not too long ago, both parties parted only to reconcile and then released a statement.

She disclosed that aside looking radiant always, she keeps her husband asking for more of her by wearing shorts when she is indoor with him. This, she said, makes her husband want her around him.

According to her, “Anytime I wear shorts, my husband always trips so he likes having me around that’s just it.”

On why dose does not go bra-less like some female stars, the actress pointed that as a married woman, she cannot do that because it will not be nice in the eye of the public. She claimed that she has never gone out to events without wearing bra.

“No, I can’t go out braless; I’m a mother, so I will not do that. But some ladies do that and for me, if they look good in it fine, why not,”.

1. The actress was born Akindele Olufunke Ayotunde on August 24, 1977 in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria.
2. Funke studied Mass Communication in the now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic. The talented actress is also a Graduate of Law from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba.
3. Funke kicked off her acting career in 1997 as ‘Bisi’ in United Nations TV series ‘I Need to Know.’
4. Funke runs a non-governmental Organisation known as ‘The Jenifa Foundation,’ which utures talent among other things.
5. Funke got the name Jenifa from her the character in movie ‘Jenifa,’ and ‘Return of Jenifa.’
6. Funke’s one-year-old marriage to Kenny Oloyede crashed in July 2013.
