ACTOR DEJO TUNFULU ESCAPES DEATH, VOMITS BLOOD IN LOCATION

Kunle Makinde Tokunbo popularly called Dejo Tunfulu is one of the few artists that master funny character in movie, he has featured in many movie and has written many some as well.

Dejo, narrowly escaped death recently while on location with other artistes for the ongoing shooting of a movie entitled "Igbo Sambisa" in Abule-Egba area of Lagos State.

Dejo, who suddenly began to vomit blood when it was his turn to act his role last week, is receiving treatment at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Ikeja.

Narrating how the popular actor cheated death, a family source told PlaygroundTV that he bled profusely from his nose, so much that his shirt, which was used to check the flow was fully soaked in blood.

It took the timely intervention of the cast and the crewmembers around who quickly suspended the shooting of the film to rush him to the hospital.

It was gathered that his nose was blocked with cotton wool and he had to be breathing through the mouth.

Another family source said Dejo had attended a political rally of Governor Ibikunle Amosun where he was attacked by some thugs shortly before going to the film location.

Confirming the incident, Dejo told PLAYGROUNDTV on phone that he sustained an internal injury, which he did not treat on time, because he thought it was a minor pain in the nostril, adding that he had to go for the film shooting because he had a role in the production.
