IF I’M NOT MARRIED BY 30, I WILL WISELY HAVE A BABY – ACTRESS RUTH KADIRI

Screen Shot 2015-06-15 at 3.45.13 PM If I’m not married by 30, I will wisely have a baby - Actress Ruth Kadiri Screen Shot 2015 06 15 at 3

Ruth Kadiri is a Nollywood actress and a scriptwriter. Kadiri studied Business Administration and Mass Communication at the Yaba College of Technology and University of Lagos (UNILAG) respectively.
In 2013, Ruth Kadiri (AKA Puchu) was endorsed and certified as a great actress by actress Uche Jombo because of her script-writing skills and acting prowess.
Kadiri appeared in such movies as Strange Madness, High School Tussle, Yankee Student 2.
Three things brought  her to the limelight; her flair for writing as well as her acting prowess. The third being her well-cherished relationship with one of the notable Nollywood producers, Stanley Ebonine.

Their relationship crashed four years ago when the former got married to his beau, Dorathy Chinasa Agu, in a manner that left tongues wagging that he dumped the actress for the love of his life. But in this engaging interview, Ruth debunks every insinuation that she was dumped by her ex-lover.

Instead, she has vowed to continue to appreciate the immense contribution made to her life by the stylish producer.
Kadiri has announced her intention to have a baby upon reaching age 30, even if she isn’t married.
It’s not uncommon to see ladies fretting about aging, but coming out to admit it sparked up some reactions from her followers on Instagram.
Ruth posted: “And so I have decided that once I’m 30 and I’m not married, I’m having a baby, wisdom is the principal thing”.

One of her followers agreed with her, saying, “Marriage is not for everyone and it doesn’t matter if you had a child before marriage because that’s what men do nowadays.
Unless you get pregnant and give them babies, then they put a ring on it because they don’t want to put a ring on their fellow man forever without no sign of pregnancy”.
But warning her, another fan said, “Easy oo, young woman”, while another fan said it was probably not a good idea to think about having a baby.
The actress, who released a movie entitled Matters Arising last year, hinted Saturday Tribune that she was in a relationship, but did not affirm if it was serious or leading to the altar.

MUST READ: WHY YORUBA PRODUCERS NO LONGER USE FUNKE AKINDELE

  •  Screen Shot 2015-06-15 at 7.51.03 PM EXCLUSIVE! WHY YORUBA PRODUCERS NO LONGER USE FUNKE AKINDELE Screen Shot 2015 06 15 at 7
Before now, Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele was number 1 and most featured face marketers go for before agreeing on marketing a film for a producer. Funke does not really need to play a lead role, as long as her face is visible on the jacket of the flick, ultimately the movie will go places. She has carved that niche for herself and displaced many of her contemporaries.
She became highest paid actress when she produced her multiple award winning movie titled, Jenifa which as today earned her fame and wealth. Shortly after the movie was released, Funke became a brand to reckon with not only in the movie industry but in all walks of life.
She became a brand ambassador to several multinational companies in Nigeria including Vitafoam, Unilever, Jobberman.com, Qlichy.com, Lagos Inland Revenue service and many more. Don’t let us forget in a haste that Akindele served as one of the longest artiste to be endorsed by telecommunication giant, Globacom as the brand ambassador.

After a while, the screen goddess geared up her game as she moved to Asaba/Enugu to be featuring in English speaking movie. Subsequently, the price of Funke Akindele to take part in one production kept rising day by day and subsequently became unaffordable. And for this reason, the producers choose another actress to replace her.
Having got this, City People went into further investigation on why her face is no longer regular and the amount she charges to feature in Yoruba movies, we gathered that the Omo Ghetto star, does not collect less than 400,000 naira no matter who is demanding for her services.
And for the fact that they couldn’t afford her bill due to the piracy seriously battling the industry, the producers stopped featuring her until recently, when she featured in a movie called Eliza produced by one of the daughters of late Chief Mrs Adunni Bankole, and Funke was reported to have made up her mind to return to Yoruba movies.
But before then, she played a lead role alongside Femi Adebayo in a yet to be released movie titled ‘’Iyawo Mi’’ (My Wife) produced by her friend, Bimbo Success. In case you don’t know, Akindele Olufunke popularly known as Jenifa was born in august 24, 1976 in Ikorodu, Lagos state. She is a Nigerian actress.
In 2009 she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a leading role. Akindele worked in television before switching to cinema, becoming known for her starring role in the family-oriented Nigerian television show named ‘I Need to Know’’. Akindele’s qualification includes OND in Mass Communication from Ogun State Polytechnic and a law degree from the University of Lagos.
In 2015, Funke Akindele starred in Tchidi Chikere’s ‘’Compound Fool’’. The movie also stars other A-list Nollywod actors and actresses like Yul Edochie, Kenneth Okonkwo, Queen Nwokoye, Moyo Lawal, Zubby Micheals and a host of others.
Funke Akindele in one of her previous interviews disclosed that studying law at the university was to please her father, who wanted her to be a lawyer. The talented act said she has always had passion for entertainment.

She stated that even though she does not have the intention to practice what she studied in school, but she enjoys it, adding that law is interesting and beautiful, which she reflects in her stories in movies. Akindele, who started her acting career in the English speaking sector of the Nigerian film industry, which many regard as the core Nollywood, stated that she did not get the needed fame from the area and got frustrated.
According to her, she left for the Yoruba speaking aspect of Nollywood because she felt that there was no place for her in the core Nollywood. The actress got a big break in the movie industry after she released her self-produced flick,’Jenifa’, and is now back in the English speaking area of the film industry in Nigeria

See the prophecy popular pastor , Prophet Dr. Olagorioye Faleyimu had to say about Nollywood actor , Funke Akindele

There has been a sounding
warning to popular Nollywood
actress Funke Akindele from the
founder of Mountain of Blessing
and Miracle Church of Christ,
Prophet Dr. Olagorioye Faleyimu.
Some of his predictions that have come
to reality are the exit of Libya
President Gaddafi, Boko Haram, and
the removal of Deji of Akure which
has surely manifested.
The man of God revealed a lot but
that of Nollywood actress, Funke
Akindele was very scaring. In his
words,
"The entertainment industry in
Nigeria should pray so that six super
stars shall not die this year and they
should also be prayerful and rely on
God because in finding what they
didn't lose, they may meet their
waterloos, the blessing of devil will
keep coming to them but they are
going to come with unexpected
calamities.
As entertainer, put your trust in God
this year, the blessings are not from
God, and this commence in August
this year. Funke Akindele to pray so
as to have a child before she go back
to her creator, she will be reeling in
blessing and all good things off life,
if cares are not taking, watchful and
prayerful she won't have a child
before she dies.

friend, John Dumelo have fallen out of
good terms with each other.
Dumelo was not in support of Nelson's
#DumsorMustStop campaign, a vigil she
started due to the poor power supply in the
country.
Nelson had previously called Dumelo an
"ass kisser" when he showed support for
Ghanaian president Mahama, and in a
recent interview, described him as childish
for not picking up her calls.

"John came to my house a few days ago
when I twitted about him "Kissing ass"
and we all laughed over it had a fun time

mum was at home. Two days after that, I
called John Dumelo he did not pick up
and I called him the next day he did not
pick up….errrm John did not support my
campaign, John hasn't spoken to me ever
since he left my house and I don't know
why", Yvonne revealed.
"John if you are watching, I think you are
just been childish come on now …come on

herself and Dumelo from her Instagram

The day a die-hard fan grabbed my boobs - Actress Yetunde Bakare

Top actress,Yetunde Bakare, without doubts, is
one of the actresses to watch out for in the
Yoruba movie industry. With movies like Ajobi,
Alani Baba Labake, Omo Olodo, Awa
Okunrin, Awolu Goes to School, Amisu to
name a few, the voluptuous ebony signed her
way into the big league and she has since
remained the screen darling of many Yoruba
film lovers.
She is a versatile actress and movie producer
who also stars in English movies thus making
herself a well known star in the industry. She
spoke with us.

How has your career been so far?
It has been awesome so far. So good, I am
enjoying it. Has anyone ever embarrassed you
over your boobs?
Yes o, it was really embarrassing. The person
was actually greeting me and we greeted each
other . But he insisted he was greeting me that
I had not greeted him, next thing he did was
to grab my boobs. It was embarrassing and I
felt really bad because as a woman, I don't
really like that kind of thing. It happened at
Rumours Club. I let it ride because I felt the
guy must have been drunk or something to do
that.
Can you go nude in a movie?
I can wear a bikini, I can wear a nightwear
but I can't go nude. If I want to be a stripper,
I can do that, I can wear a stripper's wear but
I can't go 100% nude like boobs and
everything out

Has anyone ever told you to date him for a
role?
Yes, a lot. I can't give you names but there
have been so many issues like that. There was
one that was so serious that we had to fight.
It got to a stage that he started sending me
messages on my Facebook, abusing me and
all sorts and he is a star for that matter; a
very popular actor.
Which role has been your most challenging
role in a movie?
My recent movie Asiyan because I had to cry a
lot. It is not easy to cry. At a point I was
requesting for Paracetamol because I had a
serious headache. You crying without someone
hurting you is really serious. You have to
make it look real and it's not easy.
Have you ever done a s*x scene in a movie
before?
I've not done anything like s*x but I've kissed
and I've done bed scenes.
Has anyone ever touched your boobs or your
bum in a movie?
Touching my boobs is no big deal because we
know we are working and your mind is more
on what you're doing than thinking about
something else. It's just part of the job, there is
no attachment.
Have you ever fantasised about having s*x
with any actor?
Like how I wish? That would be Will Smith
because I just like his height and cool face. I
like my man to be built along the same lines.
How do you view s*x generally?
S*x is a normal thing that happens between a
lady and a guy, it is just a way of expressing
your emotional self. When you have s*x you
have a lot of fun, exercise and stuffs and you
will be relieved of some things. It is a very
good moment because you worry less and you
just want to have that fun when you're doing
it. You want to reach the climax.
What has been your most memorable moment
so far?
That should be when I did Alani Baba Labake
even before I produced my own movie. I acted
as Lanko's daughter and he happens to be the
Landlord of Baba Suwe. Along the way, there
was a particular scene that really got me
thrilled, it was a bathroom scene. I was in the
bathroom and Baba Suwe's son was peeping
and my daddy caught him in the action. It
was something very funny because everyone
thought he was actually looking at my
n*kedness. Each time they show it on African
Magic, many people call, wanting to know if
I was actually n*ked.
There is even a joke about it, that goes like this
"Won ri run mi ooo", meaning they have seen
my pubic hair. But ask yourself: is it possible
for me to be naked for real? That kind of hair
is too expensive to see.
Where you really n*ked?
No, I wasn't. I really loved that part. It was
very funny and that part really helped me a
lot because I got a lot of calls and lots of
contacts. Most people are still convinced I was
n*ked for real in that movie.
