Ruth Kadiri is a Nollywood actress and a scriptwriter. Kadiri studied Business Administration and Mass Communication at the Yaba College of Technology and University of Lagos (UNILAG) respectively.
In 2013, Ruth Kadiri (AKA Puchu) was endorsed and certified as a great actress by actress Uche Jombo because of her script-writing skills and acting prowess.
Kadiri appeared in such movies as Strange Madness, High School Tussle, Yankee Student 2.
Three things brought her to the limelight; her flair for writing as well as her acting prowess. The third being her well-cherished relationship with one of the notable Nollywood producers, Stanley Ebonine.
Their relationship crashed four years ago when the former got married to his beau, Dorathy Chinasa Agu, in a manner that left tongues wagging that he dumped the actress for the love of his life. But in this engaging interview, Ruth debunks every insinuation that she was dumped by her ex-lover.
Instead, she has vowed to continue to appreciate the immense contribution made to her life by the stylish producer.
Kadiri has announced her intention to have a baby upon reaching age 30, even if she isn’t married.
It’s not uncommon to see ladies fretting about aging, but coming out to admit it sparked up some reactions from her followers on Instagram.
Ruth posted: “And so I have decided that once I’m 30 and I’m not married, I’m having a baby, wisdom is the principal thing”.
One of her followers agreed with her, saying, “Marriage is not for everyone and it doesn’t matter if you had a child before marriage because that’s what men do nowadays.
Unless you get pregnant and give them babies, then they put a ring on it because they don’t want to put a ring on their fellow man forever without no sign of pregnancy”.
But warning her, another fan said, “Easy oo, young woman”, while another fan said it was probably not a good idea to think about having a baby.
The actress, who released a movie entitled Matters Arising last year, hinted Saturday Tribune that she was in a relationship, but did not affirm if it was serious or leading to the altar.
